Is anyone else having fun with cheap new lenses? I have to say that mostly they've surpassed my expectations for build quality and IQ. ![]() I wanted to try these lenses because they're small and cheap manual lenses and I thought using them would be similar to using my film era primes but without an adapter. I do like this lens but 35mm with a very compact lens probably isn't always going to give the best bokeh with some scenes. Third and last I've just received a Pergear 35mm f1.4. I find it hard to criticise this lens at the price although it would be nice if all these lenses had engraved markings. I like this lens but it does have mushy corners and vignetting. I have Sony and Voigtlander E mount lenses and have also been using adapted film era lenses and recently got interested in cheap new E mount lenses.
